On a whim I created these images with prompts from Manmatha Dutt one afternoon a few months back for the entire war, one post for each day or so. Taking a second look back in review - ok cool some real humdingers! don't get me wrong, but my intent with this project was to create a modern translation of the core story end to end. Apologies to the readers, with the translation project done and the AI horse beaten to an unholy death, I want to present the epic start to finish.

A quirk in top to bottom reading ordering - Because posts stack from most recent to last, then the first chapters published are on bottom and last chapters are on top. Chapter numbers are in the subtitle so order can be followed.

Carole Satyamurti's modern retelling of the epic. Humbling! Thought this may be interest.
