Some fact. This country was literally built by people moving to places they had no right to be in such numbers and making themselves so productive that they could not be removed and accommodations had to be made by authorities. On the basis of that historical process I feel obliged to take a very forgiving stance with respect to immigration, but may be more complicated than that for majority of Americans who have a much more hardline stance. To their points, it made sense that originally targeted criminal elements.
